Caohejing Development Corporation Founded in 1984, the Caohejing Hi-tech Park Development Corporation (CHJ) is one of China’s leading real estate developers and operators.

We develop LEED – certified office and R & D space for more than 2,000 domestic and overseas hi-tech companies, including over 500 foreign-invested enterprises.

More than forty corporations on the “Fortune Global 500” list have set up over a hundred high tech enterprises with Caohejing.

Our main campus is located centrally in Shanghai’s Xuhui District, along the Middle Ring Road; we have also built and operate satellite parks around the periphery of Shanghai, including in the city’s recently launched Free Trade Zone.

As Shanghai’s economy has evolved, we have opened manufacturing plants in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces to serve our clients’ requirements Caohejing works with companies in the following high technology sectors: information technology; biotech and healthcare; new materials; high-end equipment (including aeronautics); automotive; clean energy; and tertiary sector services (including financial services, telecom networking, and business process outsourcing). In addition, a number of leading global brands have set up regional headquarters in our high rise office towers.

The Caohejing Innovation Center serves as a start-up incubator for firms in several emerging sectors, including mobile apps and gaming.

Our experienced team assists new companies with mentoring, HR and operational support, as well as early stage funding from banks, venture capital, and angel investors.

Over the past three decades, Caohejing has developed a close network with technology parks around the world. We have dozens of “sister” technology parks around the globe, and are active members of the International Association of Science Parks.
